Ernesto Castro (Madrid, 1990) is a Hispanic writer and thinker. He currently teaches Aesthetics at the Autonomous University of Madrid, where he elaborates his own philosophical system ("generic naturalism").
His latest books are Jantipa or On Dying(Temas de Hoy, in press), Another Stick to the Water: Texts of Cultural Criticism(Roneo, 2021), Memories and Libels of 15M (Arpa, 2021), Ethics, Aesthetics, and Politics: Essays (and Errors) of a Meta-indignado (Arpa, 2020), Post-continental Realism: Ontology and Epistemology for the 21st Century (Materia Oscura, 2020) and Trap: Millennial Philosophy for the Crisis in Spain (Errata Naturae, 2019). His poems have been included in the collective anthologies When it stopped raining(Sloper, 2021) and They were twenty years old and they were crazy (La Bella Varsovia, 2011). He has a YouTube channel with more than 110,000 subscribers, where he posts videos of his classes, lectures, and interviews.
